I found this assignment
to be much more difficult than I had previously expected. While there are many
things that bug me, I found it hard to find real problems that would have some kind
of solution possible. I wanted to be more creative than “lines are too long,” even
though that is one of my bugs, as it does annoy me. Towards the end, however, I
started to think of problems a little differently and it became easier to be a
bit more imaginative.
I enjoyed your bug list because it included more general problems than my list had. I mostly thought of bugs that annoyed me, and weren't widespread problems. I liked your point that healthy food is more expensive than junk food because it's made with mass processed ingredients. That's definitely a problem that hurts almost everyone. I would expand on some of the explanations for your answers, but other than that, this was a great submission!
ReplyDeleteNikki, I like your bug list because I agree with a lot of the things you mentioned. Although I hadn't thought of these things when I was writing my own blog, I realized that I also get annoyed with things like healthy food being expensive and straws falling apart when I read your post. I think your list is very direct and clear, which I like.
ReplyDeleteNikki, I enjoyed reading your list. I found it very interesting especially because there are many things on your list that aren't on mine. It shows how people have different experiences from one another due to daily life struggles. For example, many bugs on your list involved your apartment and the trash system at your apartment. I live in a house so I have different issues regarding the trash and the recycling system. Overall, I thought your submission was very detailed and shows what bothers you and what you care about!
ReplyDeleteHey Nikki,
ReplyDeleteRight off the bat, I relate with your number one bug on a spiritual level. I am consistently late and all of my friends know it, it’s a really bad problem and I should probably work on it. Overall, I enjoyed reading your post as it talked about everyday problems that do not only effect students, but also the everyday person. Finally, you make a very good point about the paper straws, as I would rather just drink without using a straw at all. Very nice blog!
Starting off with your reflection, I think you did a fine job coming up with a list, I found it pretty creative. I see almost all the items on your list as bugs as well. The only one I think needed a little more description is the single use plastic. Without context, it appears as not a bug, but since this is a bug list I assume you don't like people throwing away plastic after one use. Overall, great job.
